PLUMBER, KAMPALA
Reporting to Plumbing Supervisor, The Successful Candidate Will;
Key Result Areas: *Install, repair, and maintain chilled water, steam, heat, water, drainage, sewage, and other plumbing systems. *Inspect joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks, tanks, valves, and other plumbing system components to locate malfunctions, and make repairs or replacements when necessary. *Prepare daily activity reports for submission to the Plumbing Supervisor. *Performs preventative maintenance work as required. *Any other duties assigned by the Plumbing Supervisor

Educational Qualifications and Experience *Craft certificate in plumbing from a recognized institution. *2 years’ experience in a similar role.
Skills & Professional Attributes Required *Must be good at application of creativity and innovative skills in managing projects. *Should have good analyzing skills as well. *Skill in the installation, repair and maintenance of all types of plumbing systems. *Knowledge of the mechanical operation of equipment such as pumps, boilers, heaters, and other plumbing components. *Should be a problem – solver and be able to grasp the problem at hand and take quick steps to resolve it. *Ability to develop, formulate strategy and exercise good judgment. *Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
